On the evening of Thursday 22 May 2025, the second edition of the Nők Lapja /Women’s Journal/ Role Model Award was presented. In addition to the members of the professional jury, the readers of the magazine also had the opportunity to vote in each category. We created custom-designed trophies for the winners!
The magazine has honoured everyday heroes in fields as diverse as health, culture, community organisation, education and science. We designed the awards based on the graphic appearance of the event. The colours, the floral motif and the fonts used all feature in the awards. We usually work with corporate identity elements when designing unique awards, but now, the graphic elements of the event’s creative were the starting point during the design process.
This year’s colour was lavender, with a pale purple gradient, which we were able to adapt one-to-one at the client’s specific request. The event’s logo was placed on a pale grey concrete pedestal in the shape of a roundel, into which we placed two printed acrylic elements.

On the first clear acrylic plate we printed the names of the categories and the winners, on the second we printed the flower motif on a background of transparent colours. On the back of the second acrylic plate, a darker purple foil was applied, showing the darker shades of the flower motif.
The first award ceremony was held in 2024, created to mark the 75th anniversary of the publication of the nationally renowned magazine. We also made the awards for this occasion, which were a great success.
The base of the prizes is white concrete, with the Nők Lapja’a Rola Model logo vertically displayed and two acrylic plates inside. The acrylic plate at the back is the same colour as the logo, and in front of it is a clear acrylic plate with the category, the name of the winner and the flower motif. We think the overall look is stylish, subtle and light.
Each custom-designed award comes with a custom-designed presentation box!
Once again, the prizes received custom-made premium gift boxes, which matched the visual appeal and quality of the objects created. The pearlescent powder-coloured boxes were finished with a white sponge lining.
